Analisis level makroskopis, mikroskopis dan simbolik mahasiswa dalam memahami elektrokimia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa dilihat dari aspek makroskopis, mikroskopis dan simbolik dalam memahami konsep. Fenomena pembelajaran kimia yang ditemukan hampir selalu terfokus pada tingkat makroskopik berupa rumus dan angka, sedangkan tingkat yang sering luput dari pengematan adalah tingkat mikroskopik dan simbolik seperti penyajian diagram dan proses reaksi kimia. Salah satu sifat dari ilmu kimia adalah cenderung bersifat abstrak dan kompleks, seperti proses terjadinya reaksi elektrolisis dimana terjadi pergerakan partikel yang tidak dapat diamati oleh mata sehingga sering terjadi miskonsepsi dalam memahami konsep kimia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan pendekantan kuantitatif dilakukan pada mahasiswa semester satu sebanyak 40 orang di prodi Farmasi Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. Hamka. Sampel penelitian ini diambil secara purposive random sampling dengan kuisioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil pemahaman mahasiswa pada konsep elektrokimia dilihat dari level makroskopis sebesar 72.75% kategori baik, level mikroskopis sebesar 66.25% kategori baik dan simbolik adalah 70% kategori baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan aspek makroskopis, mikroskopis, simbolik dapat menanamkan konsep secara utuh.

Comparison of carbopol 934 and 941 as thickeners on ketoconazole microemulsions based on physical stability

As a drug delivery system, ketoconazole microemulsion in virgin coconut oil (oil phase) is added with a thickening agent to create transdermal dosage form. This study aimed to compare the physical stabilities of ketoconazole microemulsions formed with different thickeners, namely Carbopol 934 and Carbopol 941. The formula used varying concentrations of Carbopol 934 and Carbopol 941, i.e., 0.15% and 0.25%. The stability was observed during eight-week storage in which the conditions were controlled by different degrees of temperature, i.e., 40C, 25-300C (room temperature), and 400C. The stability tests included organoleptic observation, pH, surface tension, viscosity, particle size, and zeta potential. Based on the Kruskal-Wallis test results, ketoconazole microemulsion with Carbopol 941 that had been stored in different temperature showed a significant difference in particle size (significance value< 0.05), but it did not apply to Carbopol 934. The evaluation revealed that compared to 0.25% of Carbopol 934, microemulsion with 0.15% of Carbopol 934 had a smaller difference between the time intervals. This research concluded that the use of 0.15% of Carbopol 934 as a thickener in ketoconazole microemulsion had better physical stability compared to Carbopol 941 due to the influence of temperature and length of storage.

CUSTOMER LOYATY IN CHEMICAL COSMETICS: ANALYSIS OF PRODUCT DIFFERENTIATION, SERVICE DIFFERENTIATION, AND PRICE PERCEPTION

The cosmetics industry is one of the leading industries in Indonesia. The challenge
today is more than 90% of its raw materials still have to be imported. PT
Nardevchem Kemindo is an importer and trading company of chemical raw materials
for the cosmetics industry. This study aims to examine the influence of product
differentiation, service differentiation and price perception on customer loyalty. The
research population is 268 customers who are cosmetics manufacturers. The
sampling technique is proportionate stratified random sampling, so selected 75
customers. Research data is collected by using questionnaire from respondents who
are leaders or representatives of the company. The analysis technique is multiple
linear regression with 5% significance level. The results show that partially product
differentiation and service differentiation have positive and significant influence to
customer loyalty, while price perception variable has no significant influence to
customer loyalty. Simultaneously product differentiation, service differentiation and
price perception have positive and significant influence to customer loyalty. Based on
this study, PT Nardevchem Kemindo needs to do a marketing mix strategy by
combiningvariable of product differentiation,service differentiation and price
perception, with emphasis on dimension of product form, ordering ease and lower
price than competitor.

PENGARUH BUDAYA KERJA, KOMPETENSI DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA DOSEN UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH PROF DR. HAMKA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan dan mengetahui pengaruh Budaya Kerja,
Kompetensi dan Disiplin Kerja terhadap kinerja dosen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian
deskriptif ini dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode survei, kuisioner dan teknik analisis jalur. Hasil
pengujian hipotesis terdapat pengaruh langsung yang signifikan Kompetensi (X1) terhadap Kinerja
Dosen (X3) sebesar 59%, Disiplin Kerja (X2) tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap Kinerja Dosen
(X3) karena kecilnya pengaruh hanya 4,6%, Kompetensi (X1) berpengaruh langsung terhadap
Disiplin Kerja (X2) sebesar 40%, Kompetensi (X1) tidak berpengaruh langsung yang signifikan
terhadap Kinerja Dosen (X3) melalui Disiplin Kerja (X2) dan terakhir terdapat pengaruh langsung
yang signifikan Disiplin Kerja (X2) terhadap Kinerja Dosen (X3) melalui Kompetensi (X2) sebesar
48,6%. Kinerja dosen yang terkait dengan 3 indikator dalam penelitian ini yaitu waktu, kualitas dan
kuantitas dapat meningkatkan pelaksanaan pendidikan dan pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian
masyarakat. Peningkatan kompetensi dosen untuk melaksanakan suatu pekerjaan secara profesional
berdampak baik terhadap kompetensi pendagogik, kompetensi professional, kompetensi
kepribadian, dan kompetensi social. Indikator disiplin kerja dalam mentaati peraturan dan prosedur
kerja, kehadiran tepat waktu, penyelesaian pekerjaan, dan penggunaan sarana dan prasarana
mempunyai kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja dosen melalui kompetensi.

TO AVOID STARTUP BUSINESS FAILURE THROUGH ENTREPRENEURSHIP, CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT, AND DESIGN THINKING APPROACH

This study is based on the phenomenon which is that many entrepreneurs, either new or
existing, of either small, medium, or large-sized level, experience business failure. Many
new entrepreneurs slowly realize that their business is wasting money and leads to
bankruptcy.
Ministry of Communication and Informatics of Republic of Indonesia has launched a
program called Gerakan Nasional 1.000 Startup Digital. The program launced on 17
June 2016 is expected to result in 1,000 startup businesses in Indonesia in 2020.
Since its launching, there are 16,500 registered participants who are from six cities in
Indonesia. In the first stage were 2,267 participants selected to continue to the next stage.
After assessment on ideas and formulated problems to solve, only 41 participants were
successfully chosen as prospective startup business. It indicates that most of startup
businesses have not been able to both formulate creative and innovative ideas and find
required business solutions.
The objective of this study is to explain how a startup business does not fail while
operating. Besides, it is also aimed to explain the importance of entrepreneurship
approach, customer development approach, and design thinking approach for providing a
guideline, skills, and effective belief to particularly new entrepreneurs to make their
business successful.

Functions and Role of Social Studies Teachers in the Disruption and Abundance Era

The purpose of writing this paper is to look at the function and role of social studies teachers in an era of disruption and abundance. The era of disruption and abundance demands a paradigm shift in producing graduates. A teacher must be able to prepare students to be great people and be able to adjust to the era in which he will take part. Innovative ways of teaching and learning, student-centered learning, the use of technology with unlimited reach, and unlimited access to new knowledge should be developed in education in Indonesia. Novelty can be obtained by various approaches in learning activities, so that the teacher must have comprehensive knowledge about religion, science and social humanities in order to build strong character of students, not give up easily in the face of all changes instead more adaptable or even become agents of change with give new ideas. In order for students to get the knowledge and skills that are able to help them face the era of disruption and the era of abundance, the teacher needs to change the way of teaching in accordance with their roles and functions. Learning can be done using the principle of connectivity so that it is able to present a learning model that recognizes major changes in society because learning is no longer an internal activity but can be done outside of oneself.
